Crowds on monday and tuesday?

How are the crowds predicted to be on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week? I would imagine pretty crowded?

Both Monday and Tuesday will be quite crowded because a lot of schools have the entire week off for the holiday. In fact, the days leading up to Thanksgiving tend to be a bit more crowded than the actual weekend itself. But if you arrive early and maximize your FastPass use, you should still be able to see a lot.

I have been at DLR when crowds were a 1 and 10 and in between.

Even with high crowds, if you have a plan, are there at rope drop, and stick to your plan, you can see everything you want to and still have a great time!

Last night at DL was madness. We went early this am and we were able to get rides done up until 10:30am and then it got dicey with the crowds.
So our plan is get in early and get our rides done in the am, plus get all our fastpasses to get through the madness.

I've heard that weekends are crowded, but I'm wondering if yesterday/Sunday was even more so because of Thanksgiving week. We were packing to leave, go to the parks at about 10:30am and it was madness. We grabbed a BTMRR FP and headed for Splash Mt where there was amazingly no line (although it grew to about 30 minutes by the time we were off of it). But I've never seen Pirates where the line extended doubled out over the bridge. NUTS! Thankfully, we were just there to hit a few rides and not stay for the whole day.

I have no clue what Touring Plans (or any other Independant app) says, but it's the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. It's going to be crowded.

Does that mean don't go? No, just go, knowing that you are going to be there with a LOT of fellow Disney-loving people. Is it going to be a day to set records for doing anything in the quickest time possible? Nope. However a busy day at Disneyland is better than no Disneyland at all if you ask me.

Just make sure you wing it starting first thing in the morning when the park opens!

I actually think it is MORE crowded than those predictions. Touring Plans said they predicted a 9 for yesterday, but what they really saw was a 10. I was tracking wait times on the Mousewait app and it looked pretty bad. I also have a friend there right now and she also said it was super crowded.

We will be arriving on Fri afternoon and staying until Mon afternoon. I'm expecting high crowds, but with possible rain Sun night and Mon, hopefully the crowds will lessen.

Have fun, and if it's crazy crowded, go see the Fantasy Faire shows and have a treat!

Great info. I always wondered what TouringPlans says but I'm too cheap to even pay the small fee for it. MouseWait had Disneyland and DCA at 92 out of 100- the highest I've ever seen it besides the 24 hour and holidays. I will probably check it out on Thanksgiving...hopefully the TouringPlans predictions will be right.

It may be too late, but DH and I were there on Monday and Tuesday, and I thought it was crazy busy. Some people may think it was not that crowded, but I did. After the Christmas parade, there were so many people it was mind boggling. It was like personal space was nonexistent. There were so many people we couldn't even move. We were there mostly to enjoy the Christmas decorations, but did try to ride some rides. I could not believe the line for Pirates. It went all the way down - almost to Haunted Mansion - before turning around, going over the bridge and back down. WOW! Rides in 85 minute range is crazy. You would spend your day in lines and hardly get to do anything. Not sure we will ever go Thanksgiving week if we can help it. However, LOVED the decorations and still had an amazing time there.
