Crowds on Easter Weekend?

Our family is going to be at DL Apr. 5-8, Easter weekend. Has anyone had the experience of being at the park on Easter weekend? Just trying to plan what days to spend where as we have parkhopper tickets. Can't wait to go! Husker Mickey

Yep. Here is what to expect

Wednesday - busy, but not too crazy
Thursday - same as Wednesday
Friday - super busy by 11am-noon and lasting until closing
Saturday - same as Friday
Sunday - again, capacity crowds

Arrive 45 min. before opening, use fastpass, and try to get on all of your 'must do' rides before 11am. Collect Fastpasses in the am and use them in the evening. Take a hotel break in the afternoon. As you leave DL around noon, take note of all of the people entering the already crowded park.

Starting Friday at about noon through Sunday night, the crowds will be massive. Try to utilize FP and be patient. It is one of the busiest weeks of the year - good luck and have fun

We're in N. Californina and the week before Easter is our Spring Break. Quite a few people I know are going down for that week (including us). I expect it to be a zoo. We went the same week last year and it wasn't near Easter and was busy. When DL gets too bad, head over to CA. Get a bunch of fast passes before leaving DL and return in the evening and use them if you want. But like a previous poster suggested, get those fast passes as often as possible in the morning.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We have been to DL several times. Last year our spring break was the second week of March. It was very chilly that weekend, but we still had a blast at our favorite place in the world - DL. This year there will be 22 family members experiencing DL - most for the first time. We can't wait to see the little nieces and nephews eyes light up!!!

Will the week after Easter be just as crazy. We are expecting huge crowds so we are prepared for it but it would be nice if we were pleasantly suprised.

We Flew To Disneyland Last Year On Eatser Sunday And Went To The Park Mon-fri. Mon-tues -busy, Weds-very Busy, Thurs-fri-insane.
We Will Never Go During Easter Break Again.
