Crowds on Dec 29th & 30th

Hello. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the crowds are like between Christmas and New Years? I know it will still be busy but I was hoping there would be a slight lull between the two holidays.

Also, what are the wait times like for the rides?

Expect the parks to be extremely croweded and possibly reach capacity on some days. The week between Christmas and New Years is one of the busiest weeks of the year.

Yup, that pretty much sums up what it has been like in the past.

However, with the economy the way it is, and S. Cal AP's being blocked, you may be in for a pleasant surprise?? Thanksgiving was surprisingly light once the local AP's were blocked. Maybe Christmas will be the same?

This is one of the busiest weeks of the year. We usually avoid this week because when we have gone, there were times when we could barely move through the crowds. If you a going to be there, just prepare yourself mentally and do what you can. The park is still beautiful and there is lots of shopping and good eats.

I agree with DangerMouse that it COULD be somewhat less crowded than expected due to the AP issue...but I wouldn't count on it, either. I think it's more likely that the parks will just be really busy. I always try to hope for the best but prepare for the worst!

Thanks guys. I will prepare for the worst. I have my list of rides I really want to do and 2 days to do them in. I think I'll be okay. Keep your fingers crossed!

As long as your are able to arrive early in the morning and your list doesn't include every ride in the park, I think you'll be fine.
