Planning a last-minute trip to Disneyland for next week Thursday-Friday (Oct 2-3). Wondering what the crowds will be like? We are non-local AP holders.

I was thinking Thursday might not be too bad, while Friday the crowds might get bad as the day goes on?

So the plan was to do both parks on Thursday, DLand on Friday morning, and then switch over to California Adventure in the evening (as I figure it won't be as busy due to less Halloween themed stuff).

What do you think?

The Thursday shouldn't be too bad as the weekdays are usually quiet compared to the weekends. The Friday will probably be busy though as the Halloween party passes let you in three hours before the party starts. The party is sold out that night too.

Gay Days are 10/3-10/5 but it might be busier starting on 10/2 for those arriving early. On Friday DCA will get really busy in the evening once MHP starts at DL which is at 7.

Have a great time!

Thanks! I have no idea what the Halloween Party is, is that like a specific ticket to just get into DL and enjoy various activities? I think I read those attending can get into the park up to 3 hours early, but I was under the impression it's for DL only. So wondering why DCA would get really busy as well? Is that just everyone trying to avoid the MHP crowd (which was my original plan)?

I guess we might just have to hit the parks as early as possible on both days...

We go that week every year, including next week. Thursday isn't bad at all, Friday morning is fine but Friday night at CA is crazy busy because most people go over there because of DLR being only for the HP. Hope this helps, see you next week!
