Crowds MLK weekend? Anyone there now?

We are planning on going next year this time. Arriving Thursday night and staying through the next Wednesday, just curious if anyone there now and if you could relay what the crowds are like today and this weekend

our trip begins this Sunday - we've watched the crowd calendars and it looks like Sunday will be pretty busy (7 or 8 out of 10) and Mon (MLK) will still be busy (5 or 6).

After that it gets quiet for the rest of the week (3 or 4).

I figured we'll do rope drop, plan our FP+s smart for mid-late afternoon, then just enjoy the evenings in the parks and hit some more attractions right before close.

If you're curious, I'd check it out yourself. Use MDE or another app to periodically check out wait times the next few days and you'll get a pretty good idea what the crowds will be like the same holiday weekend next year.

That was my plan over the weekend, just always like to see crowd pictures if folks don't mind sharing and hearing actual first hand experiences.

Here now and yesterday Magic Kingdom was pretty empty, we could walk on most rides. This morning it was much more crowded, 7 dwarves was an hour 15 minutes after opening, most other rise were 20 minutes. I will be heading to the studios soon, the crowd app shows low wait times there, you can feel free to pm me if you have questions.

Here now too....

Easy start to the day at MK.
Cold and damp until 10ish kept some people away.

We were very successful from open - 1130 or so.
Park opened 15min early, was off Buzz before 9 (official open time). Pooh, Pan, Buzz, Tea Cups, Small World, Haunted Mansion all before 11 at an easy pace.
Hit JC after lunch and lost time. Posted wait was 30, ended up being 55!

More success with Pirates, Tom Sawyer and the train around from Frontierland to Main St. at about 320. Judt in time for FoF from the platform

Mid day was busy and stayed that way through the night, until parade time.
We did SMK, Laugh Floor, and Carosuel before our 7DMT FP @ 530. Dumbo, LittleMermaid, and a stop to grab a 4th FP for Buzz. The FP line for Buzz was almost to Laugh Floor around 730.

We bailed after that....little dude was done.


Lots of locals for sure.
