We are thinking of going down the last week of May which would be the Sunday before Memorial Day through that Saturday. Does anyone know what the crowds would be like then? Thanks for the help and you guys are the best! :cheer2:

We're going to be there then as well...so I'm anxious to hear what folks can tell me about the crowds as well. We'll be there the 25th-31st.

We'll be there the 28th-4th. I think it will be somewhat crowded, but not terrible if you have touring plans at all. We went a week later last year and it was fine.

Thats the week we always go and its great. The weather is nice and crowds are not bad at all.:thumbsup2

We are going May 26-June 1 (Willl be in the parks the 27th-31st.) I have a feeling (not by experience, mind you) that the weekend itself will be rather crowded so we will be hitting AK & MGM Sun & Mon and will then do MK & EPCOT after the weekend rush. I have a theory that most kids are still in school through the first week or so of June and it won't get quite so crowded until after school lets out. (I could be wrong, though. ;) )

We're going May 25-June 2, so add 4 more to the count! I'm expecting it to be crowded, but it's better than being at work! I do agree that a lot of schools with still be in, so hopefully it won't be terribly packed, but we'll see!

Some schools in the North don't get out until at least mid-June.

DF and I will be there May 27-June 3 and I'm really glad to hear crowds aren't too terrible. I've only been to Disneyworld mid summer when I was out of school, so I had no idea what to expect. Thanks!!

we will be there for our disneymoon that same week!!! our wedding is may 26 and we have an early flight out sunday morning. I was planning on doing MGM on sunday as well, but haven't exactly planned the rest of the week. I too am hoping kids don't really get out of school until the first week in june!

Hey congrats on your May 26 wedding! That is my wedding day too, followed by our Disneymoon starting the 27th! How funny! Where are y'all staying?

Congrats to you all who are getting married! Have lots of fun on your disneymoons!

We flew to WDW on Memorial Day of 06 and stayed there until the following Tuesday, a total of 9 days. The crowds we experienced were quite manageable. Of course we were there at park opening, had a plan, and maximized our fast pass opportunities. That is the time of GayDays so you will want to know what parks are on their schedule as they will be more crowded. Overall, though, the GayDays crowds didn't seem to affect the parks too much, at least from what we saw. I personally think this is a great week to go and everyone will have fun. It was definitely more crowded the second week we were there.

We will be there Memorial Day weekend through the week. It's good to hear that the crowds were manageable then. Memorial Day is rather early, so I do think most schools will be in session at least until the end of May.

The gayday website has their weekend listed as the weekend following Memorial Day weekend, the first weekend in June. Their schedule has them in Universal on Saturday the 2nd and in Magic Kingdom on Sunday the 3rd. I don't know how that affects the crowds in all of the parks then.

Ok, guys we decided to book May 26-June 1. A friend of mine called me last nite and asked if I'd like to purchase some DVC points from him because he wouldn't be using them. Of course I said yes! :thumbsup2 He came over and called and got me the BW! We are so excited! I didn't think the BW was available at all during that time because I tried getting them on the "renting points site" and there was nothing but Sarasota Springs. So he gave me a GREAT deal and we booked! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it, I'm about to lose my mind and I think I like it!!!! :dance3:

The 2007 UOG to WDW lists May 24, 28 30 and 31st as a 7 crowd level. May 25-27 and 29th are 8's. June starts out as 7's and beginning June 4th becomes 8's and 9's and 10's through August 6th.

This is based on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the highest. A 7 will have a ride wait time of 60-74 minutes and an 8 of 75-84 minutes.

Hope this helps.

We'll be taking our first family trip to Disney the last week of May too! I'm hoping the weather isn't too sticky... but that was the earliest we could go due to Kindergarten graduation. I've been reading that I should go to Home Depot and get lime green Mickeys... Maybe I'll see one of you with them out there!

We have traveled to WDW that week for the past five years! We'll be there again this year, too! The weather is not too humid and the crowds are relatively light, with the primary exception being Magic Kingdom. The Flower & Garden festival is going on at Epcot, and Star Wars Weekends will begin the first weekend in June, so there are lots of extra things going on. Also, the park hours are pretty long, with several EMH days.

As long as you get an early start each day, make your Priority Seating Reservations, and plan ahead, it is a great time to visit!

We'll be there that week, too! We are arriving on May 25th and leaving on June 3rd. It's our first time in May, first time for the Flower & Garden Festival, and first time for Star Wars Weekends!:cool1: I may be wrong, but I don't believe it will be that crowded. At least not as crowded as the middle of June.

We are staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter as well!!

Thats awesome! Maybe we'll see you guys there! I'll def. have Minnie Bride ears on, but I know my DF won't wear the top hat. I'm so excited because I haven't been since I was 15 (24 now) and he hasn't been since he was 9 (26 now)..also, he's only ever been to MK, so most everything will be a surprise!

We will be there too with another family. So 8 of us total staying at the YC. Glad to hear the crowds won't be too bad. I've never been at this time of year before. We plan on staying out of the parks on Memorial Day, I thought it might be the busiest day. We have lots of other things planned, fishing, hanging out at the pool. It will be a little break in the middle of our stay.
