Crowds Memorial Day & early June?

We are coming down for a trip - arrival day is the day before Memorial Day. We will be staying through Thursday after Memorial Day. We are thinking of going to Universal Studios maybe Tues, Wed or Thursday after Memorial Day. We can't decide whether to be express passes or not for that time. We have gone to Universal when it is really slow, and we have gone when it is busy. I imagine it is pretty busy the weekend of Memorial Day itself, but what has your experience been after Memorial Day? Is it worth it to buy the express passes? We would only buy it for one park - probably Islands of Adventure....just wanted to see if you thought it was worth it???

I would say yes, for the parks start getting busier after Memorial Day. A 30+ minute wait becomes the norm for most attractions.

The first time we stayed off-site at the lines seemed to take for ever. But this last time we stayed at the royal pacific. And even when the crowds were heavy the lines with fotl were never any longer than 20 minutes and most of the time they were only 10 to 15 minutes. If you are staying on property don't give the crowds another thought. We will be there again this may but are going to go home before memorial day. We will be there may 23-30. Enjoy your trip
