Crowds May 9-12th?

We are making our second trip to DL this year due to the entire family getting the flu in February. It was my DS 3 first trip and I felt horrible that he didn't get to enjoy it as much as he should have. So we are redoing it...even staying at the GC again. I know schools aren't out yet but it is Mother's Day weekend...does anyone have experience with crowds on this weekend?

We'll be there because it's my son's 5th birthday. But we have AP's and if things are too busy we move on to the next thing or go home, lol. But we plan on spending LOTS of time at the pool anyways.

I'm curious as well. We'll be there the exact same dates, and after reading how crowded the park was yesterday I'm a little worried! Hopefully it will be busy but not absolutely crazy busy.

I have been there in early May for the last 2 years. The crowds are typically pretty light. Its after spring break and before the grad night and summer crowds. I spent mothers day 2000 in the park. It was a bit busier then some of our other days, but I dont recall it being packed or anything.

We have attended the Mothers' Day buffet for the last several years and found the crowds to be very reasonable at the opening of the park. As the day progresses, it gets very crowded. IMHO, Saturdays are always busy...

Every weekend at DL seems to be very busy. I would go prepared for lines.
