Crowds Lately??

I am getting ready to head to WDW in less than 2 weeks. We will be vacationing from January 23 through 26. We picked this time of year because it is supposed to be the slowest time, but I have been hearing recently that the parks are quite busy. Can someone who has been lately let me know how the crowds are? I am still going regardless, but would hate to show up thinking that the parks are going to be slow and end up being stuck with tons of people. At least this way I can be prepared. Just got back late last night and all I have to say is, CROWDS? WHAT CROWDS??

LoL, it was sooo quiet. I'm sure the weather and the marathon had something to do with it, but we walked onto everything. No waits at all. The buses weren't crowded at all. The hotels were somewhat quiet.

It was such a nice trip = )

Thank you so much. I was really starting to worry. I was reading another board and they were talking about how unusually crowded it was. That puts my mind at ease. No just 11 more days to go!!

I am a little more worried about the weather than the crowds but, so far, looks good. Keeping my fingers crossed!
<p>I'd still rather be in a rainy Disney than a sunny anywhere else!!!

The weather actually looks like it is going to pretty good for you. When we are there the highs are going to be in the mid 60's and for us floridians that is just plain chilly!! At least you have a good amount of days forecast in the 70's!! Hope you have a great time.

A friend of mine just got back on the 10th. He said only Fantasy Land was a bit packed. Every other park was great. He said the weather was a mix of days in the 70s and one day was windy and cool. They went to Blizzard Beach and said it was fun and warm enough to swim.

I was there in January last year and there was NO ONE at the parks!! Pirates, 10 minutes, Splash Mountain, 10 minutes or less. It was crazy! I loved it.
