We have always gone in February, and we're going the first week in December this year, so we're very spoiled by low attendance. But I'm thinking about going back right when school gets out. The kids get out on May 21st (Friday). If we left on the 22nd (Saturday), what's your opinion on the crowds that week? It's the week BEFORE Memorial Day. I don't mind it being a bit more crowded, but again, we're spoiled by being able to just walk on rides with very little wait. Just curious what we would be in for?

That's exactly when my son gets out here in TN.Last time I was there that week of May I was TOTALLY surprised on how light the crowds were, even through Memorial Day weekend.I think more and more schools are getting out later in June so the last week of May is a pretty decent time to visit WDW!!

Thanks Baloo! That's encouraging! I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money to buy an annual pass when we go in December. Anyone else had experience with this week?

I posted about this on another thread and to summarize. We went May 19-24, 1999 and the rides didn't have big waits at all, crowds were pretty small, but the weather was soooooo hot. This year we'll be there May 20-25 and hoping for the same crowds, but better weather. There is a big convention booked at the GF for that time though, so it might impact crowds a bit, but it ends the 25th so after that I'd assume things wouldn't be bad.
