Hi All

Has anyone been to WDW at beginning of November? When we were originally looking at dates this seemed to be a quiet & good time to go.

We've now booked 2nd - 16th November at POFQ, but have been looking at various sights which now say that this is a busy time to go due to Jersey Week (!?) Has anyone actually been at this time of year? what were crowds & wait times like?

Last time we went it was last week in September first week in October 2003, crowds were non existent and the longest wait we had was 25-30mins for splash Mountain......:yay: I know it's not likely to be this quiet again as crowd numbers in general have increased since 2003:scared1:

Thanks for your help.

Hi Tink,

We've been in mid and end of November, it's a fab time to go, only buisy time is thanksgiving, Sorry havn't been at the beginning. Hope this helps a little?

You will see all the Christmas Decs though! :goodvibes

Absolutley love this time for WDW:thumbsup2 .We got married over there on the 30th november(went 23rd-08th december)Nice weather although can be chilly at night, hardly any rain and very low crowds.Like eyoreaud said if your stay includes thanksgiving weekend just avaoid the parks, they were very busy.We arrived the thursday before TG weekend and the hotel was fully bookedand our allocated room was not in an ideal location with a disabled Mom,but they offered to move us after the weekend was over-couldn't be bothered by then and had settled into our room.We have to go July /august this year:scared1: and I know I am in for a shock after going november but I'd rather be there in July than not going at all:thumbsup2

The (American) Thanksgiving this year is on Thursday, November 22nd so that whole weekend will be crazy at Disney World. The Sunday of that weekend is traditionally the busiest air travel day in the United States every year.

Any other time during November is normally a very good time to visit the Mouse. The weather is also usually warm but not hot, interrupted only by occasional cold fronts that bring a day of rain followed by cooler temperatures.

The Jersey teachers convention this year falls on Nov. 8th-10th and many people take the whole week off for it to go to WDW. Our first trip in 2004 was during Jersey week but we didn't notice any excessive crowds then and didn't have longer waits than you experienced in Oct. 2003. We did have a good idea of what we wanted to do in advance and a plan to go by. The Christmas decorations went up at our resort during the second week of Nov. so that was a plus for us. We loved November 2004, it was sunny and hot most of the time too :cool1:
