Hi - I was hoping you could tell me what the crowds are like mid August to late August. Now that my son is in school, we are hesitant to take the kids out of school for our trips to Disney. Did the free dining increase the typical crowd level during this time?

Also, how is the weather? We have gone in September/October the last few years and it has always been very humid and rains a bit each day.

Thanks for your hlep!

Well it is Florida in the summer which means it is hot & humid & rainy at times.

But I can tell you all the times I have been in August it rarely rains more then an hour except once when it rained the first am we were there (I woke to thunder) but we still went to the MK & then the sun came out by 10am. And our last park day it poured in Epcot.

I actually prefer this time to go since alot of schools go back in August where as we in CT don't.

And it is crowded but I think it is less crowded then August.

But you can take a mid-day break every day & swim in the pool & then go back at night.
