DH and I are getting ready to start planning our 2007 trip and are thinking March will be the best time for us to go.

The first time we went to the World was five years ago for our honeymoon and we went in March. I remember it being crowded due to the Spring Breakers, but didn't remember it being completely unbearable. It's also been awhile and have taken too many college exams and worked too many hours since then to clearly remember.

How are crowds in March? I know that we should probably avoid mid-March due to spring break. But what would be best as far as low crowds, early March or late March???

Early March will be the least crowded, especially since Easter will be April 8th.

2 years ago we went the beginning of March and were surprised at how full it was. Nothing like it would be if you went at Easter but still much fuller then we expected. It seems that Spring break crowds are pretty much March and part of April for alot of students.

I'd call the crowd level 'Moderate'. Get to the parks early, use FastPass and you'll enjoy the major attractions before crowds get too heavy, usually around 1 pm. At that time we hop to Epcot as WorldShowcase absorbs crowds well and rarely seems crowded to us. It's our favorite time and we've been to WDW in early Jan., really dead, and mid Nov., busier than Jan. but less so than March.
