Crowds in late August? around the 27th

We will be going to DL on Aug 27, and will be able to go to the parks on Aug 28-30 (maybe till the 31). So I was wondering what it will be like, crowd wise, at this time? I won't be able to go to the parks after the 31, because we will be traveling north to see some of the state.

Do you think they might be down just a little, or will it be packed?

I'm sure that it will be busy on Sat, it being the weekend, and the locals hitting the park. But what will it be like after that?

You can count on it being pretty crowded, and really hot. I avoid going in August unless I'm only going in the evening unless there's a special event.

Looks like the LA school district doesn't get back into session until 9/9. Many schools in CA start around 8/23 though, so there should be some crowd relief.

I had a feeling that the crowds would be there, but I am hoping that they will not be as bad as they were one on our last trip. Nothing but wall to wall people.

The heat dosen't really bother me. I'm from Texas, born and raised. Survived the 80's heat wave of temps of 100+ degrees with a great tan.

But heres to hoping for one low crowd day.
