Crowds in June?

Our trip in March has to be postponed until June.... are the crowds going to be out of control? Probably the week of June 12th is when we will be there. TIA!

We will be there the 7-12! Last year I was there the 10th - 14th and it got increasingly crowded each day. It was weird but it just worked exactly like that and you could tell each day that it was busier than the last and those were weekdays. So I would say the earliest you can get there, the less crowded!

June crowds definitely build as the month progresses. So your week will be better than the next one and so on! Last year our dates were the 15th to the 21st. And like Matterhorn's experience the week before, each day seemed to get a bit more crowded. But even that late in the month, it was never insane, undoable or to the point I was sorry we were there at that time. And that was not our first June nor our last, we are going again this June! I also believe early to mid June is very popular with school groups, so you will likely see lots of kids in matching tee shirts. June is a great time to go. Rides, shows and parades as well as hours are in full gear. Just arrive early at opening, utilize fast pass wisely, take a midday break when crowds and heat are highest and have fun! We will be there the week after you and I can't wait!

I agree with Amy & Dan, we have been in June the last two years also and are doing it again this year. Your week will be crowded but definitely better than later weeks, but it's still very enjoyable in June for us (obviously because we keep going!!!) Have fun!

As far as I know. Usually Memorial Weekend is when those things begin on a daily basis. As I recall however, the all out summer rates at many of the hotels, including the onsite ones don't start until late June. Rates in July and during the busy holiday seasons of Christmas and Thanksgiving are always the highest. Early June will be cheaper than those but more expensive than in the really off months.

Thanks for all the responses! We were originally going to Disneyland in 19 days... But we are now moving to San Antonio in June so we are shipping our car (from Hawaii) and driving from Cali with a stop in DL on the way.

I have been a lurker on this board for awhile, I LOVE reading trip reports and seeing all the great pics!
