Crowds in February

Feb crowds are light as long as you avoid President's Day weekend and into that week.

We were there in early Feb this year and it was very nice. The weather was wonderful, a little cool in the mornings, but people were swimming my lunchtime. The crowds were not thin, but I don't think we ever had to use a Fast Pass. Most rides had <15min wait. The only fly in our ointment was when we tried to eat dinner at Boma without a PS--bad idea.

You shouldn't have a problem. That is when we usually go to WDW or Universal. Crowds are light except on certain times like President's day weekend all ready mentioned.

How bad is President's day weekend. I am thing about going to the parks on Thurs, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and flying back home on President's day.

we have been in early feb-- before presidents and lincoln's birthdays--- and it was great-- hardly any lines-- down side is a lot of things close early or are being renovated-- but it was great-- we are going again this feb too!!!

How bad is President's day weekend. I am thing about going to the parks on Thurs, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and flying back home on President's day.

Friday will be busier than Thursday, Saturday busier than Friday, Sunday busier than Saturday.

If you have any flexibilty I suggest you get there on President's Day Monday. Starting Tuesday the crowds get less and less each day.

I always go in February...Love it!! Around Daytona 500 they pick up and sometimes the cheerleaders are there, but I think it is perfect...cool weather...and low crowds! The closer you are to Feb 1st the better...weekends can pick up due to Florida residents and weekenders, but nothing like summer!

We always go in Feb or Jan. We went for Valentines week last year and up to the last day ( which was presidents day, being Canadian we didnt know that when we booked the trip) it was relativly quiet. Presidents Day was CRAZY. THe CM's were comenting it was like christmas. See you there we are booked this year from the 7th to the 15th!

I always say...the earlier you can get, the better....Daytona 500 starts getting crazy!

We were there this past February around this time (7th-14th). It was crazy to start with but I think this was because of the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras. Very nice time to go. We're going the same time in 2006. Just be prepared for all types of weather. It did get really cold a couple of nights and we did not pack properly. I could have used some more sweaters and jeans. Pack for all the possibilities and you will have a great time.Maybe we'll see you there. We'll be staying Feb. 4th-10th.

Also I should warning you. There will be large amounts of cheerleaders. We really didn't have too much trouble except for this one group was continuously cheering even though the CM's had asked them to quite down. That was a little annoying.

Cheerleaders??? There will be cheerleaders there in early Feb? Oh brother! (I'm a former cheerleader so I know what they are like!!!) Is that for sure?

We went this past February 10-14. I was prepared for light crowds, and was shocked, it was busy! We always go in the summer, so I know what 'busy' is. We did go over a weekend. That Sunday at MK was really crowded. It seemed there were many people from Louisiana escaping Mardi Gras, there were large groups of cheerleaders, and there were many local people. I would go back in February again, loved the cool nights and warmish days, but I would go during the week if I could.
