Crowds in February

Hi everyone! I am tentatively planning my families 1st trip to Disney World. How are the crowds in February? If this has been discussed, please direct me to the proper thread. Thank you so much!

It depends. When in Feb? Feb spans both really low and pretty high crowd times, generally speaking.

That's Presidents Week so it will be pretty crowded. TP has it at crowd levels of 6-10!

Ahh, ok. President's Day is 2/20 this year and that's a relatively high crowd few days. The Princess Half Marathon is the following Sunday (2/26) with events that start that Friday that also brings in some crowds. In Feb you also have to watch out for Mardi Gras (the entire state of LA is off school and goes to WDW), but it's early in 2018... 2/13... that will probably be more of a factor the week before.

For several years we went the week following the Princess Half and always really enjoyed that time.. but President's Day week is a bit of a different animal. Still a good time to go IMHO, but I wouldn't go in expecting super low crowds.

I did a three night trip over President's Day weekend this year. It was pretty crowded, but not terribly obnoxious. Felt like April/Spring Break crowds to me. Obviously "crowded" can mean different things for different people.

We've gone Presidents' Week/Half Marathon week every year for the last 3 or 4 years. It's definitely crowded but not horrific. But, if your schedule is flexible and you can avoid it, I would. If that's the only week that works, just be prepared and you will be fine!

We've done that week.... 2014. It was crowded, but it wasn't awful, and I bet it'll be less crowded than fall this year. The weather was fantastic. Low humidity, no rain, sunny skies with highs around 80. It was glorious. We'd go back that week.

Early February should have lower crowds.

My mom and I went Feb 5-11, and crowds we're okay. We had a couple busier days, but nothing fast passes couldn't handle. Our MK day on Wed of that week was fabulous. It got crowded around 1 or so in the afternoon. But we had a BOG PPO reservation so had gotten an early start, we decided to take a break, then came back at 4. Had dinner at BOG, then did the fireworks dessert party, then EMH after. Worked beautifully. Our other days were good too, but that day stands out as awesome. The weather was pretty good the whole time we were there as well.
