Hi i am going to disney on the 1st september :earsgirl: YIPPY!

Does anyone know what the crowds are like at this time?

Thank you for any advice you can give :grouphug:

Crowds are very low, we always go in September - avoid weekends, get there early and you will be laughing.

Crowds ARE low in September but bear in mind that the first Monday in September is Labor day so that weekend will be very busy, I would have thought. After that, though, the crowds should noticeably thin as the UK kids are going back to school and most of the US kids already will be at school.

i am arriving in orlando on dabour day morning so will have missed most of the crowds, yay

I'm going on the 1st as well. In 2003 (the last time I went over there), after labour day (the first Monday in Sept) it went very quiet.

Where are you going from, I am with TCD from Gatwick

I'm off on the first as well, from Manchester with Virgin  The two previous times I've been in September the crowds at the park have been really thin on the ground if you go at opening which gives you time to ride all the big attractions - gets a bit busier round lunchtime.

Just waiting for those tickets to drop through the letterbox :rolleyes1

I'll be there in September.
We fly out on the 28th Aug from LGW with TCD.

I love to go towards the end of the summer season;
firstly as the parks are less crowded and
secondly most of our friends/work mates are back off there holls before we go and I get to rub it in that we are about to go...lol

I'll keep an eye out for the UK DIS'ers

Enjoy everone...

One word - dead - I got to Universal about 10.30-11.00 and went round and round on Jurassic Park and then went over to use Back ToThe Future and did the same there.
You could also walk around the park backwards as well - you get to bw first in half the parks!

We are there from 7th-30th September. We went same time last year and loved it. It was so quiet :sunny:

We're going sept 13-27, and were there aug 29-sep 12 last year. It was surprisingly quiet, hardly any queues on anything. Plus hurricane Frances came for labour day weekend, so on the fri we visited Universal Studios, a bit windy but deserted, and on the monday (labour day, frances came on the saturday!) we went to seaworld, wet but again empty. We also followed the quiet days listed in the Brits Guide, so don't know how much of a difference that made.

A great time of year to visit.

:cheer2:

We're going on the 3rd. Yay!

Last time I went was the 4th of July, so it was quite busy.

After reading what everyone has to say about queue times, I'm even more excited than I was before (if that's possible).

We're staying offsite at The Peabody.
It's supposed to be nice, although the WDW hotels look great too.

Hope to see a few of you out there.

WDW 2005. Yay!

Krystal

We've previously always been in November but are planning on going at the end of Sept next year after reading how low the crowds are. November is a fantastic time of year to go with few crowds and the xmas decs ect, but it will be lovely to have a bit more warmth and be able to join in with the halloween celebrations. Can't wait to go to MNSSH! :Pinkbounc
