Crowds in early Oct.

We will be spending one day each at IOA and USF Oct 5 and Oct 11. Has anyone been there around that time and can comment on the crowd level?

We are also staying at WDW without a rental car. How do most people get there and back? Does anyone know how much a cab would cost? There are 3 of us.

Crowds are light during the day.

In the afternoon, things pick up, and then HHN starts and the place is packed.

I wonder if that will be true this year. RPR appears to be out of AAA and APH rates from Oct. 7 thru Oct. 10 for standard and water view rooms.

Orlando schools are out for teacher inservice from Oct. 12-15th. Other than that date the crowds should be light. They do pick up in the evenings on HHN though.
