We're set for another quick trip to DL on May 2nd. We have our reservations, but I noticed that the PP, DLH and the GCH are all booked up. does this mean HUGE crowds or is there just a convention? We picked this time because sources said it was a quieter time (After Easter and Spring Break and before Grad Nites) Any ideas or thoughts?

Muchos Gracias.

This year will be my 3rd year in a row for an early May trip. The last two years have been great! The crowds were not bad at all. I have no idea why you aren't finding on site availability. It might have to do with the number of days you want to stay and your arrival day. Sometimes they put restrictions on their rooms. I know expedia has GCH and PP rooms for that time period, but they are 4-5 nights required.

I'll be there on May 2nd also! (May 2nd - May 4th). I know the California Dental Association has their convention that weekend but I don't know what else is going on. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded!:thumbsup2

We'll be there the week of May 3rd. I know the Food & Wine... thing... ends that weekend so it could be part of why the hotels are booked up. We're guessing the crowds will be lighter than other times since the parks are open shorter hours during the week.

I'll be there may 4th thru the 7th, for a quick trip, hoping for cooler weather (I live in Arizona..lol) and hoping the wait times are never more than 20-30 min. I can handle those. I haven't made a trip past feb in years, so I am a little nervous to as far as crowds go.
