Crowds in early May? (staying offsite)

Hi! Its our first time going to UO! The resorts all look amazing, but we have Marriott points and that's really the only way we are affording this side-trip after our first Disney Cruise, so staying onsite is not an option. I know we will miss out on the early morning admission and express passes.

We have 2 days and will be doing park-park for sure.

What will crowds be like? Touring Plans is predicting crowd levels of 3 for the dates. Will we be ok without the express passes? We probably won't be back to UO for a long time, even if we love it, so I want to make sure we are able to get everything done. Also we want to have some time to just enjoy the Harry Potter areas and do the wand stuff. We will definitely get to the parks at opening and have a general plan. Just trying to get a feel for what this time of year will be like.

Thanks!

Hiya,

This is the time I went last year and it was fine for crowds and I've never had express pass including when I used to go in July, just make sure you plan accordingly e.g. Harry Potter early as possible or late as possible. One issue we had is the parks closed a lot earlier than we anticipated and then we went to CityWalk and it was dead. It was bizarre maybe because it was midweek?

However loved it and it was good fun.
