crowds in early March

Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like in early March? I have never been to WDW at that time of the year and I have a chance to spend a few days after a conference in Orlando. Also, what is the temperature like? Thanks.

very nice! Last year when I was there in early March, it got no hotter than 80 but it started off around 55 in the morning. Very nice!

I think the crowds should be light. Easter isn't until April this year so there shouldn't be major crowds. I agree that the weather will be nice then too.

What about the spring break crowds? When do they normally start arriving? We are looking at coming in on Tues 3/2 and leaving on Tues 3/9. I'm thinking we should be ahead of most spring breaks but I'm not sure about schools around the country.

Thanks for the help,

Joshua

I am making an educated gues that the crowds should not be a problem during your dates. We are planning on a 3/8-3/13 trip. I know that March is considered "peak season", but if you note the MK park hours for early March, it closes no later than 8pm or so until the third week of March. During that week you see closing times stretched until 10pm-11pm or so. Supposedly WDW bases its park hours on expected attendance, so therefore I expect small crowds during the first two weeks of March. But Disnery always reservces the right to adjust their hours, alothoug I've never really seen that happen.
I don't like to think negatively, but this really should be the case. I mean how messed up would it be to pay peak prices, have short hours, AND big crowds?

Spring break doesn't start til mid march for most schools and run til end of April. Those are the times you don't want to be there.

My daughter has spring break March 8-12. Which is the same as the University of Florida.
