Hi my youngest DS birthday in first week of June. Our twins birthday is in July they would like to go to Disney for their little brothers birthday. We have always gone in September . Can you tell me what the lines are like and the weather ?

Honestly it depends, although I will say it generally is not as blazing hot as it would be toward the middle to the end of the month and certainly not the scorcher temps of July and August. I would say it is usually about 90 degrees give or take a little bit each way. If you are back in the room or taking a pool break by mid day I would say you won't even notice it that much. Of course I like the heat, someone may not fair so well. ;)

We will also be there the beginning of June for my daughters Bday, are the crowds really bad???:confused3

We have gone the week of Christmas, so I am guessing they will not be that bad, but still wondering.

Thanks.

As far as temps is it a really humid 90?

No matter the answer, I have been in July 2x and well the once we went in Sept was a scorcher, so I will endure.

We went last year, the first week in June. This was our first trip so I have nothing to compare lines to but I didn't think the lines were bad at all. The longest we waited was for Soarin and that was about 35 minutes without a FP. We did sit for about 25 minutes for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid but that was our choice because it was hot and we needed a break. I think we waited longer for the busses when we were leaving the parks for the day then we did any ride.

As for the heat, we had some really nice days and some really super hot days. It rained only one day on our trip and it was a brief 15 minute shower. It happened to occur on our second day when we were just entering MK, so we walked into a shop and looked around until the rain let up and went on about our day. On our 5th day, we went to DHS and it was H O T. We just took plenty of breaks and when the kids said they were too hot and wanted to call it for the day, we did.

Outside of TSM, we never saw a line over 1 hour. We're from Ohio and go to Cedar Point frequently so waiting an hour or more is nothing to us, so we were surprised when we heard people say "I'm not waiting 25 minutes for X". Heck that's not a wait if you as us :lmao:

Thank you that helps a lot we are from North Western Pa so we would be familiar with the same weather. We have waited many time for Cedar Point ( GEAUGA LAKE ) and Sea world :headache: I Oh how I miss Sea World. I keep hearing the crowds are so big we are getting out in May this year so throwing around June .

We went for 10 days in early June 2009 to catch Star Wars Weekends and will be returning the same time this year. I'd always gone to WDW in either late April or October because I like to avoid the crowds and get some nice weather. But we're huge SW fans, so we decided to try out June. Here's some random thoughts....

The weather is sunny, hot and humid. Each day seemed to get just a tiny bit hotter than the next. You'll need lots of sunscreen, a hat, light weight and light colored clothing, and plenty of water and patience. You will get hot and sweaty, so plan on changing clothes each day and showering more often.

While it may not rain every day, expect a short shower somewhere mid afternoon to early evening because of the all the humidity. Just wait it out while doing an indoor ride or show or shopping.

It does get more crowded, like a level 7 or 8. We start early at rope drop and leave to go swimming early afternoon to beat the mid-day sun and crowds. We come back to the parks for dinner and more touring. Get your Fastpasses and plan your big ticket rides accordingly. I was prepared for elbow to elbow people, but it really wasn't that bad because I planned our days to avoid the massive crowds.

Hope that helps!

We have gone the 1st week in June for the last 3 years and have planned a trip for this year also. It will be hot and humid, but the afternoon shower will cool it down some. The crowds are not too bad during the week and heavier on the weekends. We can definitely tell a difference in the crowds from the beginning of our trip compared to the end. Go as early as you can in June and you'll be fine. Wear cool clothes, sunscreen, a hat and drink lots of water! Enjoy your trip!
