Crowds in early feb?

We have a plan to go to Disney in early feburary, from the 2nd to the 10th (it's almost 600 bucks cheaper for us to fly those days for some reason....)

And it makes a long trip!

I was just curious as to what the crowds are like during that time: We've been in Jan, and are hoping for crowds similar to that. We've also been in april, and are trying to avoid those crowds as well.

I did the Disney College Program in the fall of 2007, and the crowds in early Feb. were just like the crowds in late Jan. It was empty! If I ever go back for a big trip, that is totally when I will go. Have fuuuuuuuuuuun!!!

As long as you go before Presidents day...it's a beautiful, crowd-free time to go!!!

We were there this year from 1/28 to 2/8 and the crowd was light, weather was great and prices where cheaper. I plan to go again in Feb 2010. Have a great time!!!!

I concur with the other poster - as long as you go before president's day week, you'll be very happy with the crowds.

Don't get me wrong, it can still get busy at the middle part of the day but VERY manageable.

Weather is nice too - a bit unpredictable, but usually pleasant and NOT hot.

We've been February 2006 and 2007.

Yeah, I've been in 4 or five easter break time frames, and two Janurary.

Jan beats easter to death!

Jan is just great though: We rode Buzz probably about 20 times, nemo probably 10, test track twice....

Ironically, the longest line we waited in was at peter pan. My wife was complaining because it was like 25 minutes.

Keep in mind that Mardi Gras is earlier next year - 2/3 - 2/9. This will result in a lot of people from Louisiana. We went 2 years ago during Mardi Gras and the crowds were larger than we expected. Not summer large - but bigger than expected. I think even President's Week isn't that bad compared to Spring Break - never doing that again! All this being said, I will be there President's Week for my stay with the Mouse.
