Crowds, Heat, Rain, and Lovebugs-Only 5 days to go and how are the conditions?

Here is a funny typo for next weeks weather. Good luck to all of us there next Thursday.

Yikes! 430% ? Well at least the parks will be empty!

Hoping these fab crowd reports hold true for next week!

:cool1:

Hahaha, that is the funniest thing Ive heard or read all day!! "kanye West" LOL...good one ;)

I just returned yesterday, and I'll share some info from my trip!

Crowds--Our entire trip from the 11th-17th we never really waited in line. We used FP for TSM and Test Track. We stood in line for the Fairies for almost an hour though. If you get up early and hit rope drop, you will most probably miss the crowds in the morning in the resort counter service areas.

Heat--It was high 80s low 90s the entire time with moderate humidity. Nights were generally nice. I am always hot though, so of course I was sweating my butt off.

Rain--It rained one day, almost all day, and then 2-3 other days with quick passing showers.

Lovebugs--I didn't notice any!

Have a great trip!

Just got back yesterday, and it was great!! Hot and Humid in the mid 80's with a few days of showers that lasted only 15mins or so. It was very tolerable, but we can be used to humidity here near Chicago.
Have a wonderful trip, the Halloween decor. was beautiful.

My sister and I have planned a Sept 19, 2010 trip to WDW. This thread has been very helpful ,even a year in advance!
Also, are we going to be treated to Halloween decor at that time, too? Oh, I hope so!

:thanks::stir:

This might be a hard comparison but for those that are there now, comparing crowds to last year or the last few years, does it seem alot slower (fewer ride waits)? My question is so I can possibly compare our trip time Nov 17-22----if now is alot slower than 'normal' Septembers, might we also have very low crowds (not in restaurants) than other Novembers???

We're also leaving in a few days & its nice to have the weather & crowd updates.

An over-riding theme here is rain :headache: I think it's just smart to bring an umbrella, poncho whatever and be prepared....but I'll be crossing my fingers for sunny skies anyway!:goodvibes

To everyone who's leaving soon, HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!!!!!! :rainbow:

I just had my first lovebug sighting last Thursday - saw about a half dozen "couples" flying outside our house. I didn't see any yesterday. It's getting close time though - seems like they've been coming close the end of September the past few years.

Thanks for the thread, OP, we leave in 8 days and despite numerous trips I am always ravenous for more more more information and updates! I too am interested in how people think this year's crowds compare to previous years.
Have a wonderful trip!!! :goodvibes

Following this thread closely as I get closer to my trip. Love hearing the low crowd reports. I have been there in March the last couple trips, so this sounds like it will be a joy.

Thanks for posting this questions. I'm headed to Disney on Friday and am very anxious to here any news regarding crowds and weather. Thanks to the folks that have posted info. I'm glad to hear the crowds are light.

I can't wait to get there!

I"m going the 28th. Seems like it will be more crowded that week. I am basing this solely on the fact that I have read 50 posts in the past couple days of, what seems like, everyone on here heading down now!

Some of us have got to stay home if the 'low crowd' reports are going to remain accurate!
And it's not gonna be me! I'd love to have that feeling of the park all to myself at least once in my life....pretty please.

We leave on the 28th so thats 6 less people you have to worry about!;)

Gotta love the McKenzie brothers! I haven't seen that show in YEARS! DW gets after me when we're on vacation because I start saying "eh" a lot more.

"Thanks, eh!"
"Take 'er easy, eh"
"Thanks a bunch, eh"

Fair warning to all of you going between 9/24 and 10/3! If you hear a guy using "eh" too much getting berrated by DW help a canuck out and gimme a shot of maple syrup eh?

5 more days for us! Can't wait!!!

:rotfl2: Too funny!!!!! I wish I was going at that time, maybe we'd see ya ooot and abooot, eh!

I love Canadians! (Well, except maybe Canadiens) :rotfl: Seriously, I just love the "speak".

We just got back, our first September trip and we thought the crowds were comparable to our trip last November (week before T-Giving). We're going back the same time frame this year and hoping the crowds are the same as last year.

I know what ya mean, hey. Take off, ya hosehead.

Sorry, I love Bob and Doug McKenzie and I couldn't resist with the GWN comment. We get the same accent teasing here in Wisconsin and the cold weather too, but I guess we are more the frozen tundra than the GWN.

DH and I love Bob and Doug. Love Strange Brew. Need to move further North. It's too warm in Boston. I need a real winter!

We just returned Sunday night late from our 11 days and 10 nights, miss it already. We have an awesome trip, actually thinking of posting my first trip report. We have gone the last 4 years in September, and this was by far the best trip yet. IT was EXTREMELY HOT, it was in the mid 90's everyday, with high humidity. No love bugs this year like in years past, I think we saw 2 (of course together) We did hit the waterparks and saw none there as well. Hottest park was still AK, had to elave by 2 as we were all worn out by then. Forecast was the same for this week. HAVE FUN, crowds did pick up by our second weekend but waits were only at 20 to 30 minutes. The first 7 days we walked on rides, hope that is the same for you

It is HOT and humid (95 most days), the sun is very strong and I have seen love bugs but not as bad as last year. It cools off a bit at night (80's and a breeze.)
