Anyone want to guess how bad the crowds are going to be with Nemo opening next week? We'll be in the parks Thursday-Saturday.

Are the local schools out next week? Kinda worried, this is usuallly a good time for us to go, but with Nemo I'm guessing it's going to be a whole different story!

Regardless we will be in DL so it doesn't matter, but I guess I want to be prepared! :cool1:

I'm wondering the same thing...here's hopin' for a drama free trip for us both! Look 4 me with my LGMHPC's on our bags!!!!:thumbsup2

We just got back from DL yesterday and it was allready pretty crowded! It was managable though. Hope you have a great time!

:dumbo: :ccat: :donald: :tink: :smickey:

Wondering the same thing will be at the Parks 18th-20th. I'm sure it's gonna be packed, but hopefully it's only the Nemo Ride that has a long line.

It's probably going to be really crowded. Most of the schools are out, except for the ones that are on the year round system, and not only is Nemo opening, but Fantasmic will be re-opening on Friday after its hiatus, so I would expect huge crowds for that as well.

Yikes, I was at least hoping schools were going to still be in until that Friday. I know they were for some schools in Northern California, guess not for Southern though.

Well I guess my fingers are crossed that the lines will be at Nemo! We plan on seeing the second showing of Fantasmic. Usually this time of year is GREAT to go crowd and weather wise. But too many things going on I guess!

Most local schools in SoCal, including Vegas area, aren't out until the following week.

I'll be there Thurs-Fri next week.

Also- There's a Grad Nite on Thursday, so park closes at 9- and doesn't open until 9am on Friday

We are going to be there from 13-18 as well..I just resolve myself to large crowds and pretty much go with it as part of the overall Disney experience..lol

uh huh, think we have no option going at this time of year, the only bonus is that park is open from 8am until 12am the days i'm there! :cool1:

Yeah I live in Northern Nevada and the schools are out, so I figured Vegas would be out too.

Ah well, like I said in my orginal post, we'll still be at DL. Dealing with big crowds these days HAS become the Disney experience. I can't really recall very many times in the past few years where the crowds weren't big anyway! Just have to try and enjoy the best you can!

I agree with dealing with the crowds. I accept there will be decent crowds and if there aren't then woo hoo! I have def heard that going as early in the morning as possible is the best way to go since the locals tend to get there in the afternoon, just in time for us to all run to the hotels and swim and relax! That's our plan anyways!

How hot is it going to be, anyone know? I'm used to humidity but i hear that cali sun is brutal!

Looks like upper 70's to low 80's from what one website was saying. Which would be perfect. It was like upper 90's last July when we went and between the heat and the crowds I felt sick! We spent a lot of time in that pool and A/C hotel room!

Then again were only used to dry heat now, so any kind of humidity and I'm dying! LOL
