Crowds for New Years

Hey. I have a question. Which day do you feel is more crowded- New Years Eve or New Years Day? I may be going to the parks on New Years Day and I want to get a feel for the crowd level.

New Years Eve.

New years day is a travel day for most people and the parks are consideratly less crowded.

We are going on NYE to MK, from what I understand MK on NYD should not be crowded.

NYE without a doubt. We have spent the last few NYE in Epcot and at times we came to a complete standstill for over 30 minutes walking around the lake in the evening (probably around 9:00 pm). We headed to Downtown Disney on NYD for our NYD pin and the place was like a ghost town. Only the crazy people like us looking to purchase our pins.

Thanks everyone for the answers. I am probably going to visit my CP roommate in January and was trying to figure out if I wanted to go in on New Years Day. I probably will, since it seems to be light.
