Hi kids,

We went to the Christmas Party last year, on a Thursday night, and to quote my friend, re. crowds that evening, "A line for *PIRATES*? This blows!"

I think it would be fun to get up in a couple of matching costumes and do the Halloween Party, again on a Thursday night, but this time it will be the Thursday night right before Halloween, and I'm scared the lines and crowds will again be so bad that it will be too aggravating.

We're AP holders and don't have much tolerance for waiting in line for anything, anymore. Spoiled, I guess!

Thanks for any input.

Yes, we all got spoiled. My son just returned and that was his big complaint- the lines.

I reminded him that that use to be the norm before 9-11 and that the last few years we rather unique. "Un-welcome" back the line - :crowded: :crowded:

Anyway - went last year on Halloween night - it was a lot of fun and the crowd were tolerable. Definitely wear costumes - it enhances the experience - let yourself go - get your face painted etc. I'm over 60 and became a child again that night and it was great.

Another point I would like to make is we never used the night time parties to ride the attractions - our primary goal was to do everything that was unique to the party. If rides fit in than we did them otherwise we watched special shows and did the special activities.

Have a great time.

Our next experience is Disneyland and the Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise
