I am taking my daughter to Disney for the first time in March, how will the crowds be? Also while we are there she will be celebrating her birthday any suggestions on this as well.

Thanks

I was in WDW this year the 1st week in March and crowds were minimal until the day before we left. You might want to look into it and find out what competitions are going on that week. This year there was a cheerleading competition and the kids arrived on 3/11.

As for her birthday, I suggest Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary!

We've been there that week....its wasn't bad...we were at SOG and always did EE then bailed for a break midday before hitting the park that had EE the day prior.....

We've been twice during that time .... Cheerleaders EVERYWHERE !! It was crowded but workable. Use Fasspass and get there early. Also, I've learned to avoid EE parks, we have never had luck. (just my 2 cents)

I agree with Chef Mickey's, unless she's a little princess. Maybe a princess breakfast celebration ??

Cheerleaders and spring breakers were everywhere last time we went after the first week of March.

If you're able to move your trip to the first week of March it will mean smaller crowds and lines.

HTH! :hourglass

The UCA All Star Cheerleading Championships will be going on March 10th thru the 13th. The actual competitions are on the 11th and 12th. I hope that helps!

We were there this past march and it was ok. We are going again in march because we liked it so much. We will be there March 12-19.

We were there in March from the 11 to the 18. The crowds were manageable until our last day. The Friday was so crowded they even shut the door to Pinocchio Haus and only let so many people in at a time, you couldn't even move in there. This was the only time I was ever thankful about it being our last day at Disney. I consider myself a very tolerable person when it comes to crowds and leaving the parks at night after the fireworks, but that day was just nutty!!! :earseek: After our experience in September - I am all about the off-season trips!
