I will be in town on business February 17 -22 and will be spending some time in the parks. I'm wondering how crowded the parks will be each day? Some days I won't be able to get to the parks until after 4pm. Also I might leave to have a meal in a Disney hotel restaurant. I'm afraid I will get shut out of the parks.

Any thoughts?

It will be busy as it is a holiday week, but it will not be anywhere near capacity!

Some schools have that entire week off following Presidents Day. I do recall many people commenting about how crowded the park was during that week back in 2014 when we were planning a trip in early March as I don't think people expected it to be busy past the Monday - however, I think when people expect a park to be dead and then it's weekend like busy they might mention it more - expectations are everything.

It will be a busy week because of school breaks, but definitely no worries about reaching capacity.

Thank you for the information! I just didn't want to leave the park for food or park hopping and not be able to get back in.

We were there last year the Wednesday after Pres day & the Friday ... we also went to Universal Hollywood on Thursday & went to DL from ~7:30 until close.

The Wednesday wasn't too bad ... I would say your average day at DL or DCA. We thought it would be more crowded. Thursday night - we took advantage of Fantasmic! and hit up all the Fantasyland rides. Seriously - we did Every. Single. Ride in about a 40 minute period. walks-ons to Dumbo, Snow White, Carousel, Pinnochio, Mr. Toad, Alice, & teacups twice. Canal boats had a 5 min wait. Zero waits. Was AWESOME!! We went over to Small World & rode twice in a row. My daughter did Matterhorn single rider I think 6 times in a row no waiting. But, AFTER Fantasmic! Daughter and I went to Autopia - got in line at 11pm (no FP), we didn't get on until 11:50. So .... take advantage of crowds being elsewhere if you can!!! Oh - we caught a Photog in front of teacups - first we'd seen one there at night, so that was cool. The Friday was pretty busy - got pretty busy by the end of the day/evening - typical weekend crowd. Definitely NOT capacity or holiday crowd.

We are going again The 17th -19th. This will be our kids 15th time (they are 6 & 9) - we aren't as worried about having all the rides open & such. If something is too crowded, we'll just do something else. Perhaps we'll pass by you on Main Street!

Heybets30 Look for me! I'll be the solo lady with the big grin on her face!

Um, no I'll be the solo lady with the big grin on my face!! Lol, that's when I'll be there as well. I'll be in the parks 17,18 and 19!!

Lol, I have been thinking about going solo for a few hours on Wednesday depending on weather. If I do, I'd love to meet up with one or both of you other solo ladies for a flight on Dumbo or because it will be Winds-Day, ride on Pooh. We could even do a later Minnie's breakfast. I did that for the first time in December and loved the experience. I am planning to go in May for my birthday but would enjoy going in between! I know this is super last minute but if anyone is interested in doing this or just meeting please PM me. Again, I'm not 100% I will be going just thinking about it. I am local, btw.

I'm going to busy with work all those days and won't have free time until later in the day so I won't be able to get together. Sorry
