Crowds end of April

My wife will be done with classes the first of April. I was wanting to plan a suprise trip to celebrate. She will be receving her certification in Surgical Technology. Could someone tell me what the crowds and weather are like in late April. I am looking at the 22-25. I have to get back to take finals.

My DD and I were there the last week of April in 2003 and we had a wonderful time. The weather was awesome We had rain one day at Epcot and the place was empty. Cleared up by afternoon and we had a great time. The rest of the week was sunny and nice. Hours were cut back still at that time and so they only had SpectroMagic one night during that week and so we went to MK for that and it was a bit crowded! We only went for the parade and fireworks...We did get a good spot and we managed. Other than that the crowds were not bad. It always seemed like lots of people were around,but we never really waited more than 10-15 min for anything. We did use fast pass if the wait was more than 20-30 minutes.... Worked out great. We stayed at the Dolphin and it was heaven... Loved the atmosphere,pools and so convenient to walk to Epcot and take the boat to MGM.

April weather is awesome! We went several times in April and loved it. Only had 1 day of bad weather in 5, weeklong trips! A lot of the people that go that week are New Englanders, during "april vacation" and I've noticed a lot of British there in the past too. However crowds really aren't that bad...since you will be avoiding Easter. Honestly if I were to pick a best time to go to the parks it would be the end of April.
