CROWDS EARLY MAY

DBF and I just planned a trip for May 1-4. May 2nd: AK May 3rd: EPCOT

Anybody know how the crowds are during those times? Have Spring Breakers died down?

yes, Spring Break is over by then. That is known as one of the best times crowd-wise. hopefully you're visiting MK too.

The beginning of May usually has lower crowds and nice weather. Should be a good time to go

It's more crowded than it used to be (I've heard). We went that week our first trip there in 2009. Very low crowds. It was unseasonably hot that year though, so prepare for that. It topped 100 several days. Looking at more recent crowd levels, it's definitely more crowded than it used to be.

2010 from TP: First week ranged from 1 to 4, with the average being 2.
2017 from TP: First week ranged from 4 to 8, with the average being 5.7.

My birthday in March we’re visting MK and HS! We go quite often, but we haven’t spent full days at AK and Epcot in a while we usually park hop so were kind of splitting up all the parks over 2 months to have more money to save

We should have our APs by then so who knows we may skip over to MK!

First week May is one if my favorite Times of year! Moderate crowds, but no party nights at MK so the crowd flow is more bearable. Weather is usually awesome. Flower and garden is a must do. Have fun!

It is our favorite time to go!! The weather is nice and crowds are reasonable.

I've gone that time for quite a few years. It was busier this year than in the past so I expect it to be busy next year. I just think there are no more down times at Disney World.

I do enjoy that time of year. Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing and Epcot looks wonderful. Plus the weather is warm but not ridiculously hot.

We were there the first week of May this past year and would definitely do it again. Moderately busy but we got tons done. I wish it had been a little cooler - mid 90s most days - but even that wasn’t as bad as I’d feared.
