Crowds During Easter Week????

On a scale of 1-10, crowds this past Easter week were a 9.95. The best time to go to the parks was early morning (take advantage of morning EMH) and very late (after 10:00). The nice thing was that the parks were open late every night and during evening EMH as late as 3:00am. Also, the weather was nice so even if you did have to wait a bit longer, at least you weren't standing out in the scorching heat. So, yes, it's extrememly crowded, but still manageable and still lots of fun. Good luck!

Yes they are high, we were there 3 years ago Easter week and we are going again next year during Easter week. My biggest tip is to stay on site and take advantage of th extra magic hours in the morning and at night. I know the parades are fun, but by skipping a parade or two and riding some more popular rides while the parade is in progress will help as well.

Relax, breathe, and have fun!

We've been the past two Easter weeks in a row (school spring break), and it was extremely crowded, but we had fun. You just have to plan your day a little better, and like above poster mentioned, take advantage of the EMH hours. We went to MK on an EMH morning and got there when they opened and rode everything in Fantasyland in 2 hours. Then we had lunch around 11:00 at Pinnocchio's Village Haus with no wait in line while everyone else was just getting to the parks. It is also a good idea to go back to the room in the middle of the day when it's so hot and crowded, and come back later for night EMH hours and parades & fireworks.

Just wanted to second the idea of getting to the parks first thing in the morning. Go to the rides/shows that you are most interested in first. I would grab a Fast Pass for one, hit the other, than go to the Fast Pass afterwards. By the middle of the day the parks will be packed but the 'magic' will still be there. I'm sure you'll have a great time!!

YES YES YES~ they are really that bad. It is not just Easter but many school are on Spring break to top it off! If you go early and take a break during the busiest time of day, use fast passes, and plan on taking it slow ans easy then you can make due...
Regardless your on vacation and at WDW...

We went during Easter break a few years back, and NEVER returned at that time! Not worth the aggravation waiting on lines, people pushing ,so crowded everywhere....Just not worth it at that time for us!:dance3:
