Crowds! Delicious treats!

First day I’ve been here all summer that’s just flat-out crowded. Long waits. Far-away FP return times (although we’ve scored some sweet cancellations). Lines in the bathrooms and food carts and everywhere. It’s not insane or anything, but it’s crowded in a way it hasn’t been anytime I’ve been here since May (which has been over 15 times).

On the plus side, these seasonal beauties from Jolly Holiday were delish, particularly the ladybug macaron. YUM.

I was there all day too starting at rope drop. Brought 3 friends. We did a ton, but yes it was crowded. DCA is totally out of fastpasses. There have also been some ride breakdowns. However, we didn’t encounter any bathroom lines, and Carthay was super quiet upstairs. Our server even said it was slow start to lunch. Out of our group of 4 one is still at the parks. He is getting a kick out of me making him fastpasses and him using them lol

Agree about crowds this weekend. Definitely a big crowd today. DCA is still pretty slammed this evening. Couldn’t believe how early all FPs ran out - even Goofy’s Sky School!

My wife guesses maybe it’s because it’s getting close to back to school time so this is one of the last weekends to visit before school starts in some places.

It was good! It’s officially a brownie, but it was more fluffy, like a cake.

That macaron is amazeballs, though. It’s strawberry flavored. We all took a bite and went “OHHH” in unison. ☺

I think I maybe had a preview of that. Last time the light parade was here they did this trio of smaller macarons at Jolly Holiday... one was a ladybug and it was strawberry (and yummy!).

We are a little bit extra. They’re just cheap light strands off Amazon safety-pinned to a dress.

I think I maybe had a preview of that. Last time the light parade was here they did this trio of smaller macarons at Jolly Holiday... one was a ladybug and it was strawberry (and yummy!).

Oooo, I missed those when they had them. This was quite tasty...

Our last day in the park was friday and it was definitely more crowed than the beginning of the week. We didn't stick around the parade it was so packed.

We were there last night too. Got in line for SR around 11:30pm and I think the posted wait was around 30 minutes. Parks were busy yesterday but we managed pretty good . We were there from open to close...spent 16 hours in the parks!!! Had a great time!

It was between 10:30 and 11 pm, and that was the time posted on the standby sign.

I think I saw you (well, your daughter at least)! I remember seeing a girl in a light-up dress that looked like the one in the picture above. It was very impressive!
