Crowds at the end of April??????

Just wondering if their are lots of crowds in the last week of April? We have never been to DW in April. How is the temperature ?? Should we still pack jeans & sweats?

We honeymooned in WDW on April 28-May 3, 2000. The first day was the end of Grad Week, so it was quite crowded with lots of High School Seniors. However, once the event was over, the crowds were minimal. We really enjoyed it and walked right on many rides.

Our upcoming trip is the 3rd time we are going the last week in April/first week in May. The crowds are manageable. I packed some jeans and jackets, but I don't think we ever wore the jeans. I think we used the jackets at night.

I take it the Grad night is the same time every year, because I read something about it on th DisBoards home page and that is what I am concerned about, although you mentioned that it ends on the 28th so thats promising!! Thanx!!

Grad nights this year at the Magic Kingdom are 4/29, 4/30, 5/5/ & 5/6. I believe they are invited events, so that the MK will close earlier on those nights. The rest of the day at MK and the other parks will be unaffected.
