Crowds at Magic Kingdom on a Saturday?

Having avoided going to MK on a Saturday for many years, I read recently that Saturdays are about the fifth busiest day in the week at that park.

Is this so?

What are your opinions on Saturdays in mid June at MK?

In my experience Saturdays have always been quite crowded at the Magic Kingdom. Personally, I would avoid going to the MK during a summer Saturday like the plague. Last year I stopped by to pick up a last minute souvenir on my way out of town and the crowds were outrageous. Maybe somebody else who has had a better experience and will let you know.
