crowds at DW today info. ?about next week

Just to let everyone know. My sister and her family are in DW right now and have called to say that there are practically no crowds. I hope that continues as we are going in 9 days!!! Does anyone know if there are any cheerleader things or group things next week?

I was there 3/19 and 3/20 (had to leave a day early due to DD getting sick). We never saw cheerleaders at the resort (Sports), but let me tell you...there were plenty of girl softball teams, soccer teams, boy's lacrosse teams, and what I believe to have been co-ed groups of college spring-breakers. As someone wrote a couple of weeks ago....spring break = stay home!
We'd arrive at opening (whether EMH or regular) and half run to our most important Fast Pass opportunity. The FP would already be for 2 hours later, so then you just had to stand in lines to do anything.

Oh boy I am getting nervous now. We will only be in MK thursday and Epcot friday (very short trip) before our fla res season passes black out so I am praying the crowds don't ruin it. It is my DD 5th B-day trip (our first attempt at EE) and I hope she can see the things she really loves!
6days until we leave for Disney World

Just a thought...you might want to consider switching your days and doing Epcot on Thur. and MK on Fri. Since MK's EMH day is Thur. you can expect it to be crowded (unless you just go there for EMH and leave when the crowds arrive around lunchtime, then hop to a DIFFERENT park to finish your day) and since Epcot's EMH day was on Wed., Thur. is better there.

The cheerleaders were at MGM on 3/12, I know we were there and had no idea and they were going to be there! Dressed in their outfits and all. I think they are all done now. We went to EMH on 3/18 and got alot done before lunch, so I wouldn't avoid it. Get up early and go, then go take a nap!

We just got back yesterday and went to MK on Tuesday and AK on Monday. Both parks were crowded! Long lines and congestion. Can only compare it to past visits which have been less crowded for us.

The closer you get to Easter, the bigger the crowds. Starting with 4/3 expect the crowds to be quite large through Easter Sunday.
