crowds at DL compared to WDW in OCT

Will the crowds around colombus day at DL be similar to WDW ?

We are thinking of taking our first trip to DL around Colombus day ( long weekend ) plus a couple of days on one end or another. We are just trying to figure if it should be similar to WDW, because we love WDW in Oct. there are almost no lines .

We also plan on going to Sea World and the ZOO

The last two Octobers have been pretty busy.

You'll probably be surprised at how busy DL is no matter when you go...We went this past week which was supposed to be one of the least busy times of year, but the Friday especially was very busy. We've been to WDW twice...once in Nov and once in Feb and I still think Feb. in WDW was less busy than Jan. in DL. Nov. was about the same as Sunday, Thursday and less busy than Friday. Anyway, basically, even if you go in low season, you will probably face some crowds.

I did find the lack of humidity splendid though! Ugh, that wears you out in Florida trekking it around the "world".
