Crowds Around Labor Day Weekend?

Hi everyone,

I am planning to head out to California in the beginning of September, and wanted to spend 3 nights at Disneyland. I've been during the Summer before and have experienced the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds (especially on the weekends)...so am prepared for the worst!

My question is if labor day weekend is anything extra busy? Both parks are open late over the weekend, which is part of the reason I want to go - so I have the chance to catch all the fireworks/parades in only a couple days.

Great question! I too will be there Labor day week. We plan to be in Disneyland Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We are using Saturday and Wednesday to site see around LA and Hollywood. I am wondering if 3 days will be enough park time though.

I was curious also (but yellow). My DD & DW are headed over the week 'before' (i'm coming on Sat w/my G-son). Now 'if' i can convince most of the locals to stay home that Sat.that would be so cool.
