Crowds around Columbus Day???

I was just previewing the school calendar for next year. Our kids have off October 11 (Columbus Day), 14 and 15. How can I resist only missing those 2 days to sneak in a Disney trip???

I'd love to hear from anyone who has gone Columbus Day weekend/week. How bad are crowds? Is it only *really* busy for the long weekend, and then thins out...or does it stay crowded all week??

I'm excited about the possibility of doing the MNSSHP during that timeframe.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!! I'm off to daydream about this trip becoming a reality!!!!
