Can't believe how busy it is !! Is The whole week going to be this crazy ?? Avoided last week due to school vacations up north- never expected it to be so busy this week. Thank goodness for fast pass!

I was there last week and it was crazy busy between the holiday and the 1/2 marathon, whoa!!!!

It's unbelievable. This is our 5th trip in 6 years and I'm ready to go home. Rides keep breaking down, can't move fastpasses around. I'm so disappointed.

South American countries also have it off this week because of Carnaval ceebrration

I'm sorry that the crowds are bad. I feel like we are getting to where the "slow" weeks are few and far between. Just try and take some midday breaks by the pool and while you are kicked back relaxing and taking a break from the crowds, think about all of us chumps who are still at our homes or work. Oh, and also think about how people in the north and north west are still dealing with freezing temperatures while you are sunning yourself between enjoying Splash Mountain and dinner with some characters.

Our honeymoon was the end of Feb/beginning of March in 2009 and the Mardi Gras crowds were definitely big!

I enjoy that, no matter what time of year these posts are made, there is always a large area of kids off school.

Kids have so many school breaks now I think it's impossible to hit Disney at a time when there isn't some state who is having a school break.

September seems to be a safe month still. Sadly my kids are in school now so we're stuck following suit with the masses. All good though. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than Disney World!!

Unfortunately there are still days in September where schools will have off. Maybe not multiple days in a row (of course there could still be somewhere in the nation).

For example the school district where I live had September 5th,2016 off for Labor Day and September 30th,2016 off for Professional Day (teacher meet but students are out).

So while I won't speculate that many families in my area would flock at those times it would create an extra day for a quick trip down there should the urge be there.

FWIW, today was projected to be a 6 or 7 by one site and the 13th best week all year to visit by another.
