Crowds - April/May?

We will be at USO the last couple days of April (26-27). Just wondering what the crowds are usually like then?

I noticed that last spring the crowds were getting heavier than the previous years. I think more people are planning trips in the spring that they used to. The crowds still are not as heavy as they would be in the summer though, so it is still a good time to come.

Do we need to stay onsite and use FOTL during the last week of April, or can we stay offsite (Nick Hotel) and still not wait in long lines?
