Crowds and Weather the full week before Thanksgiving week or 2nd Week in May?

Which would be better for crowds and weather?

I know the week before Thanksgiving was nice this year for us. It did rain most of the day 2 days which slowed us down a little, but crowds were middle of the road and easy to navigate.

Never been in May so hard to compare for you.

Last three years I've gone in May, 2nd week, for my BDay. All I can remember is that they have been my best trips ever (going solo, always better with DSis!)

I don't remember bad crowds? I rode everything I wanted to and then some. I had FP+ I didn't use! I do EMH/RD and stay late whenever possible. I go back to the resort mid day. I park hop. I walk-up TS for all lunch meals.
There were no long lines without FP+ that I can remember, particularly later at night. I use my FP+ around dinnertime., then get FP+4 etc. or standby.
Love May weather, usually quite hot, possibly 1 hour of rain that I can remember!

we were there the week before Thanksgiving 2014, from 11/18 to 11/26(the day before Thanksgiving) It was nice and manageable from the 18th to the 20th, then over the weekend before TG week, it got progressively more crowded. To us, it was very crowded and not worth it at that time. We had to leave MK one time due to crowds through the back stage area! We usually go to WDW 2 weeks before TG and it's okay for crowds, so maybe it only seemed way too crowded to us? I would never go the week before again!

I went the 2nd week in May last year (2014). The weather was high 70s/low 80s. It rained 2 out of the 5 days we were there, but they weren't all day soakers. Crowds weren't "light", but they weren't "heavy" either. I would go during that time again.

I have found the crowds to be about the same for both about a 6. May weather usually around 70'80's. November well you never know it can be a cold spell which it was when we went this year got into the 30's at night or it can be a good week and be low in the 70's, November is very hard to predict.
