Crowds a few days Before Thanksgiving??

We went in '05 on the Sat - Wed before Thanksgiving. It was crowded, but not so bad. By using FP, we were able to get everything done. I don't know if it's typically that crowded or if it was also the combination of the 50th.

I would totally do it if that's the only time you can make it. It starts to get really busy on Wednesday so you should be good to go!

We were there Mon - Thurs and our friends were there Wed - Sun. The crowds weren't too bad at all. We did spend a few of the afternoons at DCA, though.

My friends said Fri & Sat were surprisingly empty - even had castmembers commenting on it!

It was a great time to go. The longest line we stood in was 30 minutes - the rest were all maybe 10 minutes, tops. Some things we walked right onto, like It's a Small World & Pirates!

We did the week before Thanksgiving last year and wow it was wonderful! There were crowds but I think they were the typical crowds nothing outrageous and the weather, oh my gosh the weather was awesome it was in the 90's most days!

We usually go the week before Thanksgiving and have amazingly low crowds with all the perks of Christmas! We have gone the early part of the Thanksgiving week like you are speaking of and it wasn't too bad. It was more crowded than the previous week but I wouldn't let it deter me from going. I love going that time of year. It jumpstarts my holiday spirit!!!

We were there Monday through Thursday 2006. It was not at all as busy as I'd imagined it would be, but busier than my normal off-season trips. Pirates had some pretty long lines, but not over an hour... I think around 30-40 minutes most of the time. It did get progressively busier as the days went on and we didn't even end up going into the parks on Thursday because my son was sick and we didn't really need to do more anyway. We just hung out in DTD most of the day before our flight home.

So is it wild and crazy the Mon/Tue before Thanksgiving?
Would you do it?

That is when I went last November with my 2 year old. I was busy but not at all horrible. I am planning another trip for this year. We went and had a great time, i think I'm going to make it an annual family trip.
