Crowds 26 December

We found a great train fare but it is no changes, etc. I was thinking of doing a quick trip on Boxing day and the day after but wonder how bad will the crowds be?

Horrible? Manageable? Or don't even think about it?

It gets very busy from Boxing day to NYE as that's when the French really start coming.

Christmas is the 24th in family so the 25th is spent recovering as you don't go to bed until around 4.00 am and then the holiday week starts

The other thing is that the weather could be bad in the North of France which would affect the Thalys and you could find yourselfs stuck on a train or in a station somewhere.

Being so much more closer now you'll have lots of special offers out of season when it's quiet
