Crowds 1st week of June?

How are the crowds 1st week of June? Are schools starting to get out around that time? This is our 1st year with AP's and hoping to get some use out of them this summer as I will be on maternity leave from work We usually go the week after Thanksgiving and have also gone the 1st part of May and really enjoy the small crowds!

Also, would we be crazy to take a 4 week old infant?

We went at the begining of June last year. It was great! The crouds were perfect and the weather was nice.
And I don't think your crazy. I brought our DD when she was a few months old and it was easy. I think the hardest part would be lack of sleep if your baby is up eating all night like mine were.

We are going to be there that week and from what I can tell (based on previous year's hours) it should be pretty calm still because the CA kids are still in school (for the most part). I have seen elsewhere that Thursday night will be a Grad Night and that DL will close early that night to accomodate that event. But, overall it should be a pretty good time to visit.

As for the baby going: My DS made his first trip at 7 weeks old, and honestly it was the easiest trip of the 6 we have made during his first 16 months. Between the stroller and the Snuggli he slept nearly the whole time, but I also got lots of great photos of him in mouse ears and his halloween costume (he was an adorable baby Tigger). So, I say go for it and have fun if you are physically up to it at that point!

Thanks for the replies! I'm looking forward to getting my second little girl as hooked on Disney as the rest of us (our first just turned 3). We're going to try and stay 5 days so it should allow us to take a slow pace and have a great time! Thanks again!

I will be there the same time! And the crowds are great and weather is warm but not too hot...it's perfect!

Definitely tends to be a good time of year to go. Most schools don't get out for a few more weeks and those that do aren't enough people to make it busy. Plus the weather isn't super hot yet although it can get a bit toasty.

We went this week last year and are going again in 2009 the same week! I love this week as So Cal kids aren't out of school yet so the parks are not overly crowded. There will be some school field trips sporadically that week so do be prepared for groups of kids in the park, but its not too bad and last year the kids were well behaved even though they were in large groups. Hope to see some LGMH!!!

There will be grad nights during that week. DL will close early one night or two.
You will also experience some June gloom. In the morning it will be overcast and then break into a brilliant day by early afternoon. In the night it might get chilly. During the week the crowds are on the lighter side. Weekends get much busier. We enjoyed our time during that week in 2008. Have a great time.
