Crowd sizes in October

I've been to Disney over and over in October, it is by far the best time to go IMO. I went in March and too chilly for me. I went in July and whoa way too hot and rainy for me. October was just right temp and the crowds seem to be much easier to deal with. I don't think you will be disappointed.

October is our favorite time to go, but since Columbus Day week-end is on Oct 8th-9th this year, I'd try to avoid that week-end if possible.

If you'll be at WDW then, I'd recommend avoiding the MK on Saturday, or if Spectro is running, hopping back after a day in another park. As you probably already know, holiday week-ends at the MK are NUTZ !!

Weather-wise, it's just about perfect!

I'll be there October 8th-14th. This will be my first time in Florida not being the dead of summer. Generally how is the weather. Is it warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirt all the time or will we need to pack jeans and jackets?

Thanks

It's still hot in early-mid October. Upper-80's into the 90's sometimes. I remember last year during Food & Wine at Epcot, that it was basically summer weather. So yeah, t-shirt and shorts will most likely be perfectly fine - infact much needed.

And also, Epcot will get VERY crowded during the weekends in October/Nov during Food & Wine...but it's well worth going anyway. My favorite event at my favorite park.

We went last October and had a great time. We are going again this October. We had shorts weather the whole time. Crowds were pretty light during our stay. F&W is awesome in Epcot.

That's so great to know. It will already be cooling off where we live and the "extended" summer weather will be perfect!

We're going the first week of October also. Whenever we've gone down (around that week) it was nice and hot - of course, humid- and you won't need a pair of jeans. We've always brought jackets into the park, just in case, but we've never used them.
Have fun :sunny:
