Anyone recently back from the first week of June with crowd reports? I'd love to know how it is, we leave Sunday.

Also, how is the weather?

We were there 3/30 (Memorial Day) thru June 5. We were in the parks every day from Tuesday (day after Memorial Day) thru Saturday.

Crowds really weren't bad at all -- but that could be due to the weather. It rained every day. I don't mean the typical 30-minute afternoon shower. We wore our ponchos most of the day each day. Had maybe a total of 3 hours of sunshine all week. The weather was a bit of a downer -- however, it was not hot, and the crowds weren't bad. But it's hard to know whether the crowds would have been larger with better weather.

Even with the manageable crowds, the crowd level did pick up -- and some fastpasses disappeared -- by late afternoon. We were able to ride everything we wanted -- several times -- by using fastpasses and sometimes in the standby line. But I don't think we ever waited longer than 20 minutes (and typically not that long). Whether you use EMH or not, I think that it pays to arrive a few minutes before park opening time. We were always able to get a lot done in the morning hours.

We were there the same time and I agree with everything she said. We were in and out of the parks by 1:00 most days and never had to wait in line for anything. We got to do everything we wanted to do, except Sorin because we were too sick from Mission Space and had to go back to our hotel. The only "wait" was the time it took to walk through the turnstiles and holding areas before the rides. We went on Test Track 3 times in a row just walking off the ride and walking right back into the building. In the evenings when the rain was gone, the waits were more like 50 minutes and the crowds heavier.

We were there the 1-9 of June and it got pretty busy...even on extra magic hours it was still a 2-hour wait for splash mtn.!!!!!wow! :earseek: But the first few days were ok....! :earboy2:

I just got back last night, was there 6/4-6/9. It was very very very crowded. EMH night at MK was insane, people were everywhere for WISHES. All the major attractions at all 4 parks had 60-100 minute waits. I gave up on soaring, tried to get a fastpass at 11am, and it said to come back at 5pm! Waited for 30 min for Jungle Cruise even, and 30 for Haunted Mansion!

It was muggy and hot there too. Rained around 4pm everyday, but was done by 5pm. Just very humid.

Sorry for the bad news!

Okay..got home this morning and I have a DIFFERENT experience...
I didn't think the crowds were bad at all...The only day that was crowed...IMHO was Saturday June 5, which was "the" day for Gay Day at the MK...which wasn't that bad at all...

Followed TGM (tour guide mike's) plan and it went well...a little planning goes a LONG way....

can i say it enough???
FAST PASS, FAST PASS, FAST PASS, FAST PASS.....

Never had more than a 20 minute wait for standby lines anywhere except maybe Dumbo which was 25.

So DON"T fret! Plan and you should be fine...

Just got home from a trip May 31 to June 10th (drove to and from FL). The week leading up to and including Gay Days weren't bad at all crowd-wise. But beginning June 6th the parks seemed very crowded compared to last year.

Use fast pass for the popular attractions. Get to Soarin' EARLY.

We were there from 5/29-6/09. Crowds were manageable, but did pick up from 6/6 on. Magic Kingdom was packed by noon each time we went. For Epcot, get there as the park opens and go straight to the Land. We got a fastpass for Soarin, did Living with the Land got a cinnamon roll to share and then used our fastpass for Soarin'. Try to use fastpass as much as possible and just realize there will be lines. We had a great time!

Just arrived home today. The only time I felt really crowded was at the MK EMH. It started at 11:00 and it was 12:30 a.m. before any of the rides had wait times under 40 minutes. After 12:30 and until 2:00 a.m. when it was over most rides were walk ons except Space Mountain and Peter Pan. They were about 20 min.

Just got back this morning. I was there Thursday and Friday... MGM thursday Night was busy (and sweltering, thank gods the sun was down) we had wait times for TT and RNRC of about 15-25 minutes. And Friday I spent at Animal Kingdom. All the signs were saying 10-20 min wait times, when I didn't have to wait for a thing, the time was what it took to walk from the opening of the que to the end of it and board. That's it. Mind you, it was a "miserable" weather day as well. Warm, moist, but mostly pleasant. I didn't mind the misting of the rain, and it kep the heat down to almost bearable.

This morning it was ugly until about 11, when the sky opened up. Due to a migraine that came on Yesterday afternoon, I forwent the parks and headed home. It truly is nice to have that luxury.

Twice... I saw ladies in Lime green, and I asked if they were from the DIS, neither knew what I was talking about. Now I did see an older blonde woman with her hubby dressed TO THE NINES in Lime, hat to shoes, She HAD to have been from the DIS but I didn't get to say hi.

There was also another woman this morning getting in line for the 1900 Park Faire Restraunt... she looked at me and I at her (We were both wearing lime green tops) but didn't say anything.. so if that was you. HI!

I just got back and I was there 6/4-6/11. All I can say is crowded and hot. We used fastpass and stayed inside from 1:00-4:00 and everything was ok. I noticed than on morning emh that by 8:30 the big rides already had a 60min wait. Just remember FASTPASS!!!!

We were there from 5/31 to 6/10 and we found it to be VERY busy. The first few days were not as bad as the rest. We never did EMH parks (not morning or late night folks) and planned for the least busy parks, based on the Unofficial Guide. The only way we got things done was to go right away at park opening and get a few rides done before heading back to the hotel by about 2:00. We have small children and so we wouldn't wait more than about 20 minutes for a ride. We did several FastPasses, but missed several rides for lack of time (not willing to wait 50-60 minutes).

Just got back, was at WDW June 5th thru 10th. Not too bad of crowds, just on Wednesday June 8th for EMH at MK. Around 12:30 AM though it did start to thin out and we were able to get on most rides within 5 minutes, except it took about 20 minutes for PeterPan. It did rain on us several days, just bought poncho's and kept going. Was at MGM twice and both times Aerosmith coaster was down, also get fastpass for Soarin early, we went to get it around 3 pm and was all ready all given out for the day.

you must have been at another disney world. i went to MK every day from 6/5 on and EVERY DAY the line for space mountain was 60 min or more. i went to EPCOT every morning and every time TT was 45 min or more, and Soaring was 65 min or more. and i remember MK being so packed you could not move at some points a few of those days.

And crowds did not seem bad at all to us. We even did a few Evening EMH and walked on everything but Stitch at MK. I was really worried about the crowds but I think we just missed the summer crowd.
