Made rope drop Sunday/yesterday. The weather was fantastic, the crowds were (relatively) light. Here's a new one for me: we were first on PP and on Mr. Toad. First for PP is obviously doable with some determination. However, to make both rides as the first guests really takes a bit of luck. Lately my luck quotient has skewed heavily in my favor (and it's about time ;-)).
ROTR was open to CMs and their friends/families, as many of you know. A CM acquaintance was at the park for the launch and she invited someone else I know to join her. I didn't see him later so I was unable to get any feedback. But I did think it was cool that CMs got a first look.
I have (the new) park maps, if anyone would like a pair. I only have DL at the moment but I'd be happy to pop a pair into the mail (domestic is preferred but if a compelling case can be made, I could be swayed
). Please send me your preferred mailing address via direct message.
I was in the company of yet another young lady yesterday and we had a great time. I was able to talk her into Buzz for four rides. I did break 2M... but I broke it by more than 200,000. As a result, my score was reset and I came out with only about 100,000 points for that round. That's always annoying but you have to simply let it go.
A few pics. I didn't take many because I was with a friend so I concentrated on the life in front of me rather than the life that was seen through the lens.

This FP kiosk near the Buzz exit was the focal point for many today as CMs scored FPs for the new ROTR.
