Crowd question: MHP Friday vs. Regular night Friday

So does anyone have a guess of a crowd comparison of regular attendance on a Friday at DL vs. attending the MHP on a Friday?

We are looking at possibly attending on the Oct.17th date, but was wondering what it would feel like in the parks crowd-wise. Even a touring plans crowd rating comparison would help!

Last year during the day it did not feel to crowded at all until the afternoon. I found the party to be very crowded compared to the morning crowds.

I personally felt like they're very similar in terms of crowd size, it's just that the crowds were very different. The crowds are large, but manageable (although, there were folks who went to MHP on the same Friday night as I did and they felt the crowds were unmanageable, so it's all a matter of persective).

I think the MHP crowds are more focused on the party activities (trick-or-treating, Cavalacade, Screams fireworks, dance parties, character meet-and-greets), so the ride lines seemed shorter. They were not walk-on for the most part, but they weren't horrendous either (HMH did have a consistently long line). On non-MHP Friday nights, I feel like the crowd is more evenly distributed between evening entertainment (e.g., Fantasmic! and fireworks) and rides.
